We all have that uncle that sees the world in a different way. They spend more time inventing than farming sometimes. They get hyper focused on solving some problem we have just learned to live with. Lots of times their contraptions are clunky and fail. But over a lifetime, they hit a couple out of the park.
So many of these people share their inventions with their families and it goes no further. Commercializing something is hard. The big boys on the block make it a scary feat to overcome.
Well Walter is that guy. He wants to share this with the world. He understands that farmers can be vilianized by the green people that don’t take the time to understand our plight to feed the world.
He understands if we can make no-till and high speed planting work, we can save millions of gallons of desiel by plowing the fields so many fewer times. This protects the environment AND our pocket books, all while feeding those starving children in Africa that Sally Struthers used to show us on TV.
